Professional Hightlights:
Danielle King is co-founder of The Renaissance Guild, San Antonio’s Premiere Black Theatre Company, and she has just started her own production company, Drama Child Productions. Her recent theatre performances include Gemini Ink Dramatic Readers Theatre production of Black & Blue: Four Hundred Years of Struggle and Transcendence, written by Sterling Houston, Nuncrackers, Blues for an Alabama Sky, and in the film Dating Danielle. She won an award for Best Actress in a Comedy for her role in TRGʼs Steel Magnolias and an award for Best Actress in a Comedy for her role in Harlequin Theatreʼs Proposals in the 2007 Alamo Theatre Arts Council Globe awards. She is currently co-Managing Director of TRG's ActOne Series, and has helped produce many of their mainstage productions.
